Location, location, location. You really can’t get much better than this. You are just a few minutes from BBNP in one direction and Terlingua in the other, with a general store within easy walking distance (a bit pricey but good for stuff you forgot, and also sells charcoal if you plan on grilling). It’s right off the road, but being on the southern tip of Terlingua there is hardly any traffic after dark, so you still get that remote big sky experience. When I messaged the host about grill tongs, he was very quick to respond. Cabin was perfect for a couple, felt a bit crowded when our other couple came a day later, but we knew that going in. All in all a good place, would stay again for our next trip out there.
